Grant just started smiling the week before the pictures were scheduled. We were so happy thinking we'd get a set of pictures of the smiling baby. We got to the studio with a full tummy and alert baby. We waited and waited for our turn. Then we waited some more. Grant was getting very tired so we finally let him take a nap. An hour and a half after our scheduled time, we were called into the studio. By this time Grant was hungry and tired. We tried everything. Finally we resorted to snapping the picture the second we jumped back out of the shot! The results aren't all that bad, but we really were hoping for better!
